Manigent defies the credit crunch by winning two major projects in December
Manigent is pleased to announce a successful end to the year with the commencement of two major operational risk related projects in the financial services industry. Both projects see Manigent implementing the Risk-based performance methodology supported by Microsoft’s PerformancePoint Server application.
As the financial services industry is hit by the credit crunch the FSA has responded by increasing its supervisory activities leading to a requirement for regulated firms to improve their risk and controls framework and reporting. Risk-based performance is providing the methodology and framework to enable existing and emerging regulatory requirements to be balanced against performance goals and targets.
In addition to delivering the Risk-based performance methodology, Manigent is now able to fully support it with a specific technology solution built with Microsoft’s PerformancePoint Server application. Some of the capabilities incorporated in the Risk-based performance solution include:
- Strategy Maps
- Balanced Scorecard
- Risk Maps
- Performance Dashboards
- Risk Dashboards
- Controls Dashboards
- Risk Appetite definition and monitoring
- Risk Assessment
- Risk events (Incidents/Near Misses/Losses) capture and reporting
- Exception reporting and trend analysis
- Key indicator capture and analysis (KPIs, KRIs and KCIs)
- Scenarios and what-if analysis
- Capture commentary and feedback
With a Risk-based performance solution developed, Manigent is able to fully support their client’s performance and risk management agenda, from methodology through to technology.
